Raja Ramadas

While growing up in Chennai, Raja had good exposure to Carnatic music and found the classical Indian musical traditions very interesting. He started learning Tabla in college and quickly became a fan. He is open to all forms of classical music, and I believe it is important to maintain and expand on this beautiful tradition. He is currently learning tabla with Debasish Chaudhuri. He currently volunteers in organizing and executing all types of Rupak events, including music and dance performances. He has taken a leadership role in organizing a Youth Program in Rupak. He is working with a core youth group in developing a plan for objectives and goals for this subunit of the not-for-profit organization. Raja is an Engineer by profession.
